    We are excited to present the newly designed website for Good is the New Cool (GITNC), a creative company dedicated to using business and culture as forces for good. As the agency behind this project, we took on this work because we truly believe in their mission. Our goal was to craft a digital space that reflects their vision—one that feels fresh, modern, and, most importantly, cool. 

    A Platform for Positivity

    In a world filled with negative news, GITNC’s website highlights the good being done globally. Covering topics like sustainability, inclusivity, diversity, and social justice, this platform is designed to inform and inspire while maintaining a stylish and engaging presence. The challenge? Making good news as compelling and dynamic as the cultural movements shaping our future.

    Our approach to the design and user experience centered around creating a blog-focused platform that felt sleek, bold, and fashion-forward. To achieve this, we focused on a clean layout with vibrant colors and bold typography that set a strong aesthetic tone. We incorporated unique animations and interactive UI elements to make navigation intuitive and enjoyable. Optimized assets and fluid transitions ensured a seamless and fast-loading experience, making the website as engaging to use as it is to look at.

    The Concept: Pushing Forward, Flipping Perspective

    The website’s design revolves around the idea of “Pushing Forward and Flipping Your Perspective.” Innovation drives change, and this philosophy is brought to life through interactive elements, such as elements that flip in 3D on hover, creating a sense of movement and engagement. Images stretch and expand dynamically within sliders, giving a fluid and modern feel to the visuals. During page transitions, new pages push previous ones out of view, reinforcing the feeling of progress and forward momentum. The result is a site that feels alive—bold in its raw energy yet refined in execution.

    Dynamic and Customizable Content

    Beyond aesthetics, the GITNC website is built for flexibility and storytelling. Articles are structured with various content modules, allowing for diverse layouts and a unique visual identity for each piece. Writers can choose from multiple hero layouts, ensuring each article feels distinct and curated for maximum impact. An intelligent search tool and filtering system make it easy for users to find the content that matters most to them. With smooth animations and optimized performance, the browsing experience remains fast, fluid, and seamless.

    Innovative Technologies Powering Our Project

    This project is a high-performance, SEO-friendly static site built with Nuxt 3, leveraging Storyblok as a headless CMS for its visual editing capabilities and modular approach to content creation. Articles are composed of dynamic components to choose from, offering maximum flexibility in content creation and enabling unique page layouts. The site emphasizes engaging user interactions with CSS and GSAP animations, incorporating smooth stretch, flip, and spin effects that align with the brand’s uplifting identity. A key technical challenge involved rendering 3D UI elements purely with CSS, achieving depth and perspective without WebGL. Additionally, we implemented seamless thumbnail flip transitions for a fluid and polished user experience. Search functionality is powered by Algolia, ensuring fast and relevant content discovery.
