Converse by You is a place where creativity and process meet. We were mandated by Converse to conceptualize and develop a modular in-store space where individuals can express their personality through customization. Consumers become a creator —stamping, stitching, pressing, and accessorizing their own unique shoe.
Following the idea of “The Canvas Factory”, our in-store concept winks at the notion of the blank canvas being both the foundation of self-expression for a creator, and the primary material of the Converse Shoes.
Converse by You was designed to be modular, allowing the installation to scale within a range of existing Converse stores.
Starting with a blank sneaker, the creator passes through different stations in the space to customize, and accessorize their shoes to perfection.
Converse has always fostered a spirit of uniqueness, and the end result of Converse by You is a space carefully designed to inspire creators to explore that individuality.
