As 2025 Begins, Defending 2SLGBTQIA+ Rights Is More Urgent Than Ever.
In the U.S., being part of one or multiple 2SLGBTQIA+ communities is becoming increasingly dangerous. The new administration marks the start of an era that is openly hostile toward trans people: banning gender-affirming care for anyone under 19, prohibiting trans people from serving in the military (and immediately discharging those already enlisted), transferring incarcerated trans women to cis men’s prisons… And the list goes on.
This alarming context reinforces the urgency of our recent partnership with Rainbow Railroad, a globally recognized organization whose work is more critical than ever.
Rainbow Railroad x TUX Karma: Strength in Unity
Rainbow Railroad helps people in danger find safety by assisting them to escape violence and persecution. Since 2006, the organization has helped 19,000 LGBTQI+ people reach safety.
In 2025, Rainbow Railroad aims to relocate hundreds of individuals fleeing their countries’ oppressive laws and anti-LGBTQI+ violence to safer regions. We’re proud to join forces with this incredible team.
Directly Supporting 12 to 15 Lives at Risk
Through this partnership and an initial $60,000 donation, TUX Karma will support 12 to 15 individuals this year via Rainbow Railroad’s via Rainbow Railroad’s travel and resettlement programs and pathways —covering relocation costs, housing, medical care, and post-resettlement support.

Remous: Pride 2025 Edition – Spotlight on Rainbow Railroad
A key moment in our partnership will be the Pride 2025 edition of our Remous event. After last year’s success with the Kiki Ball, TUX’s creative teams are already buzzing with ideas for next summer’s event. Beyond that, TUX will also lead various initiatives—from mentorship and fundraising to leveraging our creative expertise to amplify Rainbow Railroad’s mission.
