Boulangerie St-Méthode: An ode to local authenticity

Familiar faces, recognizable landscapes, and the authentic charm of Saint-Méthode village. That’s the method we’re using to premiere a powerful message for this home-grown brand.

We had the honour of creating a campaign that captures the warmth, simplicity, and local love that make up the key ingredients of Saint-Méthode bread. Our creative and technical teams travelled across the magnificent Saint-Hilaire and Saint-Méthode landscape to capture the full beauty of these iconic Quebec towns. Every shot highlights the authenticity and richness of these moments using breathtaking images. The result? A video that profoundly reflects the very essence of Saint-Méthode.

The campaign’s art direction was carefully thought out to reflect each of Saint-Méthode’s three sub-brands: Campagnolo, Les Grains, and La Récolte. From the choice of colour palette to camera movements, every detail echoed the brand’s unique identity. For example, the camera’s circular movement around a cyclist hints at not only successful past campaigns, but also the active lifestyle represented by Les Grains. Conceptually, the story unfolds around people who look very much like the brand’s audience, adding another layer of intimacy and authenticity to the campaign.

During production, we also had the immense pleasure of collaborating with well-known and loved Quebec actor Emanuel Bilodeau, who is the voice of Saint-Méthode bread. His warm and familiar voice seamlessly accompanies the campaign, adding a touch of proximity and sincerity to a project we hold to heart.

Lastly, our dedicated team captured drone footage above Saint-Méthode village, adding a final authentic, homemade touch to this campaign. This tip of the hat to local know-how reminds us that, sometimes, the best images—like the best ingredients—are found right outside our door.
