Junior Producer (Los Angeles based)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Producer to join our dynamic production team at TUX. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for production to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, creative environment. Our clients vary in scope and scale, and as a Junior Producer, you will work closely with EPs, producers, post production team members, and creatives in supporting the full production lifecycle from planning to delivery. If you have strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and are eager to increase your knowledge of production, on projects ranging from small social shoots to large 360 national campaigns, we’d love to chat and see if you’re a good fit for joining the TUX team! This role is hybrid but must be based in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of project-specific production strategies;
  • Support senior producers in evaluating production costs at a high level;
  • Collaborate with creative and client partner teams to help propose realistic solutions and address production-related challenges;
  • Help communicate with clients during the production process to ensure smooth project flow and understanding of each phase;
  • Participate in the supervision of production phases, including assisting with casting, crew management, equipment handling, and shoot planning;
  • Coordinate with various team members (director, photographer, music composer, production manager) to ensure project alignment and progress;
  • Support project management tasks from start to delivery, including budget tracking, scheduling, and resource allocation under the guidance of senior staff;
  • Fully own and lead small scale productions in-studio or on location;
  • Contribute to monitoring project costs to ensure budgets are adhered to.

Skills and Experience

  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond effectively to challenges;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Willingness to learn and engage with clients in a professional manner;
  • Ability to work closely with team members and external partners;
  • Basic knowledge of production costs and the overall production process (training and guidance will be provided);
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks;
  • Team-oriented, enthusiastic, with a desire to develop leadership skills over time.
