The Video Editor is responsible for assembling, editing, and optimizing video sequences to create engaging and high-quality content. They collaborate with creative teams to translate concepts into captivating visual products.

- Edit videos from raw footage while adhering to creative and technical guidelines.
- Assemble video sequences, add special effects, transitions, graphics, subtitles, and animations.
- Optimize image quality, sound, and color grading.
- Work closely with directors, producers, and creative teams to ensure the artistic vision is maintained.
- Manage file organization, archiving, and project backups.
- Make adjustments based on feedback and constructive criticism.
- Ensure delivery deadlines are met.
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in audiovisual production, multimedia communication, film, or a related field.
- Proven experience in video editing.
- Proficiency in professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
- Skills in color grading, color correction, and sound design.
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
- Strong sense of rhythm, visual storytelling, and aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
